Living for eternity by serving and investing in people

Philosophy of Ministry
Mission Statement

Living for eternity by serving and investing in people.

We would like to emphasize the importance of people in our ministry. We have been commanded to love and serve others and because of the work of Christ on the cross, the power of His resurrection, and the work of the Holy Spirit on our lives we seek to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. We think that it is Kingdom work to serve others and we believe it is an investment in eternity to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

Values Statement
7 Ministries is dedicated to the following values:

  • Christ Centered (John 1:14, 29, 1 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 1:3, 2:14-17, Philippians 2:1-11, Colossians 1:15-20)
  • People (Leviticus 19:18)
  • Servant-minded (Luke 22:27)
  • Priesthood of Believers (1 Peter 2:9, Revelation 5:10)
  • Prayer (Matt 6:9-13, Luke 11:2-4, John 17:5-26, Romans 12:12, Col 4:2, 12, James 5:15-16)
  • Bible Study (Isaiah 40:8, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
  • Relational Evangelism (Ephesians 3:10)
  • Generational Discipleship (2 Timothy 2:2)

  • Fellowship of Believers (Ephesians 1:4, Hebrews 3:12-13, 10:24-25)

    Vision
    Statement

Our vision is to raise up 3 generations of Christ followers that will train others to do likewise (2 Timothy 2:2).

What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. (2 Timothy 2:2 ESV)

This was written to Timothy while Paul was in prison and probably close to his death. Paul wanted to make sure that Timothy understood that it was also Timothy’s task to disciple others, who would also disciple others. Notice there are 4 generations of disciples in this verse: Paul, Timothy, faithful men, and others. So 7 Ministries wants to implement this approach to our ministry and take part in generational discipleship.
